公司创建于2003年7月，2011年9月在深圳证券交易所创业板上市。公司主营创新医药、创新农药CDMO，兼顾生物酶产品及营养保健品的开发和生产，战略投资环保、新材料等领域。公司目前拥有八大生产基地及四大研发中心。公司早期生产基地位于江苏省太仓市，随后陆续投资建设了南通基地，并购了盐城滨海基地，布局了欧洲马耳他基地、浙江上虞基地，通过产业基金合作建立了湖北襄阳基地、辽宁阜新基地。2022年开始布局甘肃兰州基地，并以此为基础扩产、转产。同时，公司已形成以上海张江创新中心、朴颐化学、颐辉生物、兰雅药创为核心的研发中心架构。公司是国内医药、农药中间体行业中的高端产品定制服务商，在国内精细化工行业具备较强的竞争优势。
