公司成立于1996年2月8日，是一家由国有法人股份、中资法人股份、外资股份和众多自然人股份共同组成的混合所有制现代商业银行。本行现服务经营区域覆盖江苏省和北京、上海、杭州地区，共设有17家一级分行和289家营业网点；现独资和控股投资南银理财公司、南银法巴消费金融公司、鑫元基金公司、昆山鹿城村镇银行、宜兴阳羡村镇银行等五家金融机构，参股投资江苏金融租赁公司、日照银行、芜湖津盛农商行等三家金融机构。2013年，本行发起成立了由国内优质中小金融机构自愿组成的“紫金山?鑫合金融家俱乐部”，目前俱乐部正式成员为133家，成员覆盖全国26个省、市、自治区，构建了“共商、共创、共享”的金融同业合作共赢生态圈。经过29年多的改革发展，本行在上级党委政府的正确领导、监管部门和行业协会的指导帮助、客户和投资者等各方合作伙伴的助力支持下，以“打造国内一流的区域综合金融服务商”为战略愿景，坚守服务国家战略、服务地方经济和服务城市居民的使命定位，优质服务经营、守正开拓创新，目前在公司金融、科技金融、投资银行、零售金融、财富私行、消费金融、网络金融、普惠金融、养老金融、金融市场、资产管理、数字金融等业务领域形成了坚实基础。2024年，本行在英国《银行家》杂志评选的全球银行1000强榜单中位列第91位，在中国银行业协会公布的中国银行业100强榜单中位列第21位，是中国人民银行、国家金融监督管理总局确定的全国20家系统重要性银行之一。

Wind has developed a rigorous rating methodology based on the core connotations of ESG, aligning with international standards and frameworks, and incorporating the characteristics of Chinese companies, to assess the company's essential ESG performance, risk and its ability to operate sustainably.
