公司于一九九九年八月在香港特别行政区(简称“香港”)注册成立，并于二零零一年二月二十八日在香港联合交易所挂牌上市。二零零一年七月，公司股票入选恒生指数成份股。公司于二零二二年四月二十一日在上海证券交易所挂牌上市。二零二三年六月十九日，公司在香港联合交易所的香港股份交易增设人民币柜台。中国海油为中国最大的海上原油及天然气生产商，亦为全球最大的独立油气勘探及生产集团之一，主要业务为勘探、开发、生产及销售原油和天然气。目前，中国海油以中国海域的渤海、南海西部、南海东部和东海为核心区域，资产分布遍及亚洲、非洲、北美、南美洲、大洋洲和欧洲。

Rated companies can access their detailed rating information through this platform, and communicate with or provide feedback to the Wind ESG Rating team regarding specific rating components.
