公司于2009年3月通过股份制改组设立，是供销系统民生保供企业，前身是成立于1952年的广东省农业生产资料总公司，有着70余年的经营历史。公司以现代农技服务为先导、直达终端的配送体系为支撑，主要从事化肥、农药等农资产品的销售并提供专业的农技服务，是中国具有较大品牌影响力的农资流通服务企业，广东省重点农业龙头企业和农业产业化国家重点龙头企业。公司于2020年9月在深圳证券交易所挂牌上市。公司秉承“诚信为本，服务三农”的经营宗旨和“以农户为中心，以作物为导向”的经营理念，致力于成为现代农业生产综合服务的引领者。公司在全国20余个主要农业生产省区和农资集散地建立了100家配送中心，直接对接服务的终端核心门店和种植大户超25,000家，服务区域实现24小时全天候响应，2小时内产品送达。依托服务网络，公司充分发挥农资保供主渠道作用，全力保障农业生产需求。作为供销系统民生保供企业，公司始终坚守“为农服务”初心使命，牵头推进“4+100+1000”农资农技服务网络建设。2021年至今，公司在广东省开展农业社会化服务超1,200万亩，其中2024年服务面积突破550万亩，充分担起农业社会化服务主力军社会责任。在新的战略规划指引下，公司正积极开展“社村”合作试点，大力发展“订单农业+全程社会化服务”模式，推动经营服务模式转型升级。近年来，公司改革发展成效得到社会各界高度好评，品牌深受广大农民朋友信赖。
